Know For Sure You're Going To Heaven

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.

Ephesians 2:8-9

Did you know that God loves you? He does! In fact, He loves you so much that He sent his only son to earth to die on a cross to save us from our sins.

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

John 10:10 “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”

Because we are all born sinners, we couldn’t be with God since Heaven is perfect and without sin, just as God is without sin.

Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”

Because of our sin, the penalty is death and an eternity in hell.

Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Jesus was sent to die on the cross as payment for our sin. Because of Him, we can have a home in Heaven with the Lord if we put our faith and trust in Him and accept him as Lord and Savior of our life.

Romans 5:8 “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

Romans 10:13 “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Romans 10:9-10 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

If you want to know for certain that you have a home waiting for you in heaven, you can ask the Lord Jesus right now to come into your life and save you from your sin.

      ~Dear Lord Jesus, I know I’m a sinner in need of your grace. I know that I need you in my heart and life because I’m imperfect and prone to sin. Help me to honor You with my life and live as You would have me to live. I humbly ask You into my heart and my life right now. Please save me from my sin and prepare a place in heaven for me. I thank you and give you all the honor and praise.
